Formación

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business controlling and reporting activities.

Be part of a team where:

The Grant Financial officer is part of the Finance Team. He/she will report directly to the Head of Finance. The primary focus will be supporting partners through the financial processes related to the Grant and perform payments and internal checks related to sub-granting.

Tasks will involve, but not be limited to:

  • Support partners in the understanding and interpretation of Horizon Europe Grant Agreement rules.
  • Launch payments ensuring compliance with SGA and EIT rules (including Grant Agreement)
  • Follow-up payment processes with areas to ensure timely and accurate payments (including milestone and financial report delivery)
  • Ensure correct cost allocation of each transaction with accounting and controlling
  • Support areas and subgrantees in case of amendments of SGAs.
  • Work on continuous improvement of Netsuit with IT
  • Contribute to EIT Urban Mobility audit processes (EIT-CFS, statutory).
  • Participate in the preparation of the budgetary implementation and the financing decision / annual Business Plan, as well as in the planning, preparing, follow-up and reporting on the budget, provide support to budget management in respect of financial regulations
  • Support compiling the annual amendment and annual financial report of EIT Urban Mobility.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business controlling and reporting activities.
  • Experience with similar type of organisation, complex governance, multiple companies, stakeholders, European networks.
  • Experience in EU funded projects follow up.
  • Written and spoken English (C1)
  • Diagnose and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skill, especially in communicating financial information to different audiences.
  • Distinct team player.
  • Hands-on and proactive mindset.

  • Any additional EU language is a plus.

Kindly note that this is a permanent and full-time position, and it is based inBarcelona.

Possibility to work from home 2 days a week.
