At ING we are looking for a Graduate Energy & Infrastructure. Your role and work environment: We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Graduate ready to kick-start a career within banking. ING’s Wholesale Banking Graduate Program prepares you for a future role in a very dynamic and competitive world. You will be part of ING WB team and will have the opportunity to collaborate, support and learn from different areas.

Your key responsibilities:

As a Graduate in Energy & Infra you will:

1. Support Energy & Infra Finance department in the origination and execution of transactions in Iberia as well as in the management of the team’s portfolio:
1. Origination activities include (i) preparing marketing materials; (ii) detailed analysis of companies and projects; (iii) monitoring sector information and collection of market data and dynamics; (iv) preparing different debt structures to clients.
2. Execution activities include (i) financial, technical, and structural analysis of the transaction; (ii) financial modelling; (iii) negotiating the transaction documentation; (iv) processing of documents for internal project approvals (KYC, commercial greenlights, credit packs, etc.).
3. Portfolio monitoring activities include (i) continuous monitoring of the deals included in the portfolio; (ii) analyze waiver requests from clients; (iii) interact with different support teams in other monitoring activities.

Education:

Strong academic background in engineering, business administration, economics or similar.

Experience requested:

Internship experience in banking, finance or consultancy, focused in the Energy and/or Infrastructure sector.

Business competencies:

• Strong financial analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent speaking and writing skills in English is a must.
• Prior financial modelling experience is strongly recommended.

Personal skills:

• Hard worker with ability to drive multiple activities in parallel.
• Attention to detail and delivery of top-quality documents.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions (team player).
• Enthusiasm and ambition to learn.
