Job Description

We are seeking a passionate web developer who enjoys working with open source frameworks and is eager to take on responsibilities and share expertise. If you are developing and want to grow with us, Cognizant Netcentric could feel like home. Your curiosity about AEM will be a great fit. You will be responsible for the entire project delivery, working closely with the project manager to ensure client satisfaction.

Main tasks include:

1. Defining solution architecture and interacting with client architects
2. Writing and refining technical specifications
3. Providing effort estimations for requirements
4. Leading a distributed development team
5. Reviewing code and coaching team members
6. Ensuring infrastructure requirements are met, including IDE setup, Maven, CICD, Docker, SonarQube
7. Synchronizing with the lead system engineer to meet quality and performance standards
8. Managing releases and developing critical system components for a reliable environment

**Requirements:**

• Hands-on experience with AEM
• Experience leading technical and people management teams
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
• Strong knowledge of Java in web projects
• Extensive experience leading Java-based web projects
• Knowledge of design patterns and best practices
• Experience developing RESTful Web Services
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue or React
• Experience with testing at all levels
• Ability to extend existing products via APIs
• Familiarity with build tools like Maven and version control tools like Git
• Experience with JIRA and other task management tools
• Proactive mindset, openness to feedback, enthusiasm, and continuous improvement

**Additional Skills:**

• Experience with Test Driven Development
• Knowledge of Java Content Repository API (Jackrabbit/CRX)
• Knowledge of OSGi and Declarative Services
• Experience in professional development environments like Eclipse IDE
