• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and data engineering in the cloud.
• Expertise in BigQuery, including ingestion, optimization, and workload management.
• Solid experience with dbt and Dataform for data transformations.
• Knowledge of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Familiarity with FinOps principles, especially cost optimization for BigQuery and cloud resources.
• Experience in DevOps practices, including CI / CD with GitHub Actions.
• Agile mindset with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills in English as it is a Must

Responsabilidades

• Manage and optimize BigQuery workloads, ensuring efficient data ingestion, availability, and cost-effective operations.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for cloud resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data architecture, best practices, and cost optimization strategies.
• Automate deployments, testing, and CI / CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Work in Agile methodology, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure proper documentation, monitoring, and observability of data pipelines and infrastructure.

As a growing company in the data and AI space, we offer excellent opportunities for development and teamwork within the Finance domain. We are currently looking for a Data Engineer - GCP & dbt to join our Data & AI Product Chapter.

Tasks

• Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and transformations using dbt and Dataform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Manage and optimize BigQuery workloads, ensuring efficient data ingestion, availability, and cost-effective operations.
