Who we are looking for

We are looking for an optics simulation software engineer with a startup mindset to develop and optimize a proprietary optics simulation software platform. The main objective is to speed up and reduce the cost of the near-eye display design process through simulation.

What you will do

• Develop optics simulation software in MATLAB and Python environments
• Adapt and optimise GPU code for numerical simulation
• Solve applied physics-oriented problems

What technical skills you have

Absolute essentials

• Proficiency in large-scale matrix and vector operations, signal processing and vectorized computations in MATLAB and Python
• GPU code optimization expertise for High Parallelized Computing

Valuable extras

• Basic understanding of concepts and equations of optics and light propagation
• Familiarity with GPU Python libraries such as Cupy and Numba
• Design of robust software architecture and version control implementation

What education you have

• A PhD degree and 3+ years of industry experience in Applied physics / Computer Science with a focus on numerical simulations
• Alternatively: a Master’s degree and 5+ years of industry experience
• Professional working level of English
