Job summary

INNOCV Solutions in Spain is seeking a Backend Go Developer to join our technology team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in Go, with mentorship from senior engineers and collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate services.

You should have 2-3 years of backend experience, solid REST API design, and familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases. Knowledge of Git, design patterns, and CI/CD is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of backend development experience (Go preferred or similar language).
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis).
• Regular use of Git for version control and collaboration.
• Familiarity with common design patterns and Clean Code principles.
• Nice to have: Jira/Trello/Azure DevOps in Agile environments.
• Nice to have: CI/CD and automation practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend components and microservices in Go, progressing to greater autonomy.
• Design and implement clean, efficient RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with Frontend and other teams to integrate services.
• Identify, debug and resolve issues in production and testing environments.
• Contribute to code reviews and improve code quality.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure stability.
• Suggest performance improvements for apps and queries.
• Participate in task estimation and sprint planning in Agile environments.
