Ria Money Transfer is seeking a Compliance Officer for Wallets to own the global compliance program for its digital wallet, ensuring policy design, risk assessments, monitoring, and controls across markets. You will partner with product and engineering from day zero to build compliant features, lead the deployment of AML/CTF tooling, and maintain strong regulator relationships across regions.

Formación

• 7+ years in AML/CTF, e-money, or fintech payments compliance.
• Deep understanding of how wallets and stored value services operate.
• Experience working with regulators across multiple regions.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, with clear communication.
• Ability to partner with product and engineering to build compliant features.

Responsabilidades

• Own the global compliance programme for Ria's wallet, across every market.
• Be the group level SME on wallet mechanics: funding, stored value, tokenisation, interoperability, payouts.
• Partner with product from day zero on new features and markets to embed controls.
• Lead deployment and tuning of financial crime tooling (TM, sanctions, KYC/EDD).
• Act as a compliance voice with regulators and support licensing with MLROs and entity heads.
• Keep Ria ahead of MiCA, PSD3, FinCEN rulemakings and local e-money regimes.
• Report to senior management and VP of Compliance.
• Communicate risks and trade-offs clearly to business stakeholders.
