This role will partner strategically with our international business leaders and collaborate with our People and Culture team, acting as trusted advisors to identify and attract top talent while fostering a fair, innovative, and inclusive environment that champions our culture, values, and sustainable growth.

You will also be responsible for driving transformative talent acquisition and employer branding practices embracing a human-centric approach that inspires exceptional candidate experiences, empowering A-players to build a thriving and future-ready organization.

Key responsibilities:
  • Partner with managers and leaders across the organization to plan, prioritize, and execute high-quality recruitment processes that focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Source, screen, assess, and interview candidates based on competencies and cultural fit, making recommendations to hiring teams.
  • Support the implementation of the recruitment framework as well as policies, guidelines, and procedures across the global organization to support CHG's business objectives and values.
  • Collaborate with employer branding, marketing, and global P&C Business Partners to craft an engaging recruitment strategy that attracts top talent and enhances candidate experience.
  • Guide global, regional, and local hiring managers on effective talent acquisition strategies and recruitment tactics.
  • Act as a single point of contact in the selection, direction, and management of CHG's external suppliers and partners related to talent acquisition.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, recruitment tools, and market developments to proactively source and engage top talent.
  • Play an active role in setting up and provisioning recruitment data and KPIs for business and management.
  • Support the HR Systems team in the maintenance and improvement of our Applicant Tracking System.
  • Post job advertisements on the Global Community careers website and other relevant websites.
  • Manage the timely collection, verification, and editing of proposal submission materials, including CVs, biographical data forms; and GDPR commitment to ensure compliance with donor requirements.
  • Collaborate with applicants and salary evaluators in the formulation of offers, including total compensation packages and onboarding schedules.
  • Perform reference checks.
  • Negotiate consultant salaries, benefits, and subsidies within the proposed budget and regulations of requesting countries.
  • Proactively network to obtain a potential pool of candidates and maintain the pipeline.
  • Participate in training sessions with staff on recruitment tools and practices such as LinkedIn and sourcing techniques.
  • Represent the organization at career fairs, professional conferences, and networking events.
What you need to succeed in the role:
  • Completed studies with a focus on Human Resources or comparable training in the HR sector (e.g. HR specialist).
  • Relevant professional experience in the field of recruiting, as well as international recruiting experience.
  • Proven experience in data and statistical analysis, with the ability to derive insights and inform decision-making.
  • Strong sourcing and headhunting skills, utilizing platforms like LinkedIn, Stepstone, and Indeed.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to engage and inspire candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative approach in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Fluent in English (additional proficiency in French or German is a plus).
