Your Mission

As our Senior General Accountant, you'll ensure robust and reliable financial operations across all IKONO entities, current and future. Your expertise in the Spanish General Accounting System and international accounting practices will be essential in maintaining our financial engine and supporting strategic decisions to align with IKONO’s business goals.

We seek someone who is meticulous with numbers and connects finance to business growth.

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable

• Oversee sales records, invoicing, and follow-up on pending payments.
• Ensure accurate documentation and monitoring of accounts receivable across multiple markets.

Accounts Payable

• Process supplier invoices and employee expenses.
• Maintain records and manage due-date schedules for efficient payments.

Journal Entries & Reconciliations

• Log journal entries and keep ledgers updated for all entities.
• Reconcile bank statements and intercompany accounts across countries.

Audit Support

• Prepare documentation and support audit processes for local and international entities.

Administrative Support

• Collaborate with Admin and Store Managers for proper accounting control of inventories, personnel, and fixed assets.
• Maintain a secure, organized document filing system.
• Work with finance teams across countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and global standards.

What You Bring

• Proficiency in Spanish and English (C1 or higher); additional languages a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years in accounting roles, with knowledge of the Spanish General Accounting Plan and experience across countries.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
• Experience working with or adaptability to global teams and multi-country operations.
