Are you a dynamic Sales Compensation Sr. Director / Director with a passion for optimizing sales teams' performance? As the Global Sr. Director / Director of Sales Compensation at Criteo, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design and execution of incentive strategies that drive results. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our internal customers while shaping the company's compensation philosophy in collaboration with senior leadership.

In this role, you will lead the development of our Global Sales Compensation function, ensuring alignment with sales goals and strategic vision. You will collaborate with Sales Leadership, Finance, Compensation & Benefits, and other cross-functional teams to define key metrics, design incentive plans, and assess their effectiveness. Your expertise in Sales Operations, Compensation Management, and strategic thinking will be essential in driving performance and continuous improvement across the globe.

What will you do as the Global Sales Compensation Director?

As the Global Sales Compensation Sr. Director / Director at Criteo, you will lead a team to evolve our sales compensation strategy and execution worldwide. Your responsibilities include:

  • Designing and Scaling: Develop and expand all aspects of our Global Sales Compensation, including philosophy, design, administration, and analytics. Ensure a measurable return on investment (ROI).
  • Incentive Planning: Lead annual Sales Incentive Compensation planning, working with sales leadership and finance to define metrics, incentives, quotas, pay mix, accelerators, and OTE.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team, set clear goals and KPIs, and identify strategic projects to meet business objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Enhance the sales compensation process to ensure transparency and self-service access, developing metrics and reports to evaluate incentive effectiveness.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Sales, People, and Legal teams to align sales plans with business metrics and drive desired behaviors.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders, gather feedback, and communicate metrics to improve performance.
  • Analytics and Innovation: Use analytics to identify gaps, leverage technology for efficiency, and innovate within sales compensation while maintaining financial integrity.

Who You Are:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in Sales Operations, Compensation, or Incentive Management.
  • Proven leadership in managing sales operations or compensation teams, preferably in technology.
  • Expertise in incentive plan structures, including quotas, pay mix, and OTE.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex ideas for executives.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in analytics tools and metrics.
  • Proficiency in Sales Operations tools like Anaplan is a plus.
  • Global perspective and experience working with international sales teams.
  • Ability to align incentives with business strategy and influence leadership.
