Illumina seeks an experienced Associate Director, Regulatory Legal Counsel to guide regulatory strategy across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. You will partner with Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Medical Affairs and Commercial teams to enable compliant development, submissions, and post-market actions.

The role can be based in the UK or other eligible Illumina locations in Europe, with occasional travel to the Cambridge office and across regions.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified lawyer with international regulatory expertise in medical devices, diagnostics, or life sciences.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience advising across multiple jurisdictions and cross-functional teams.

Aufgaben

• Provide regulatory legal advisory across EMEA and Latin America for medical devices and IVDs.
• Interpret EU/UK regulatory frameworks and advise on country-specific requirements.
• Support product lifecycle, market access, and post-market obligations.
• Review labeling, promotions, and contractual documents for regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with external counsel in foreign jurisdictions as required.
