G-P is seeking a Technical Director for Purification in Barcelona to lead technical strategy and engineering across five sites. You will partner with top leadership to drive performance, safety, and innovation in product development and risk management.

The role oversees multisite budgets and end-to-end tech delivery from ideation to launch. The ideal candidate has 10-15 years leading technical developments in Chemical/Pharma, with experience in fine-chemicals or distillation, and proven HSE

Responsabilidades

• Develop and steer overall technical strategy with other directors.
• Represent the company technically to clients and external parties.
• Foster a safety-first culture with HSE and other leaders.
• Communicate the technical vision internally and externally.
• Design and approve strategies for new product development.
• Manage resources and budget for technical teams.
• Oversee end-to-end product/tech development from ideation to launch.
• Advise project teams on technical strategy and monitor progress.
• Assess technical risks and implement preventative measures.
• Advance knowledge of sector and introduce new processes/tools to drive innovation and quality.
• Ensure quality and compliance across all operating countries.
• Advise other departments on technical factors.
