The Opportunity

Are you passionate about quality assurance, reliability and eager to make a significant impact in a global program? As our Global Product Quality Manager, you will lead the Product Quality and Reliability disciplines across the product group Grid Power Quality Solution and Service (GPQSS), in alignment with the BU Grid Integration program.

Your mission will be to implement a robust end-to-end product quality framework based on industry standards such as Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Reliability testing, taking full ownership of its definition, implementation, and continuous improvement. You will also integrate in future the teams that support our product lines based in the global center of competences (GCoC) for power electronics.

While the preferred locations for this role are Spain or Sweden, other EU locations are possible if you can travel regularly to our main sites. Reporting directly to the Head of Quality & Continuous Improvement for GPQSS, and dotted line to the Head of R&D.

How you will make an impact
  • Lead the deployment of APQP and a robust quality assurance framework across R&D, Engineering, and Product Lines, ensuring consistency and reliability.
  • Define and execute the mid-term Product Quality Strategy, collaborating cross-functionally to elevate standards and performance.
  • Own and implement key quality processes, including gate reviews, product launches, and SQDC-driven readiness assessments.
  • Develop and deliver training programs using a train-the-trainer model, embedding core quality disciplines across teams.
  • Establish feedback loops and reliability KPIs, integrating insights from projects and fleet into new product development.
  • Foster a community of reliability professionals, driving continuous improvement through collaboration and alignment with our CI and Quality Policy.
Your background
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in the automotive, aerospace or energy industries with serial production.
  • Proven experience of managing diverse global teams.
  • Proven product development and continuous improvement experience demonstrated.
  • Strong proficiency in APQP methodology, quality and reliability tools.
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong skills in change management, relationship-building and business acumen.
  • Ability to excel in dynamic environments, with strong communication and presentation skills at executive level.
