Job summary

dormakaba International Holding AG in Madrid is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to help achieve cost savings through supplier negotiations, and to manage order processing for prototypes, tools, and related items.

You will maintain master data, support RfXs and quotation evaluations, and contribute to small purchasing projects within a global procurement team.

The role requires organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office, and experience with SAP-MM and eProcurement is a plus.

Qualifications

• First experience in similar position or industrial sector appreciated.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• MS Office is a must; experience in SAP-MM and eProcurement is an advantage.
• Experience in the execution of RfXs as well as quotation evaluations.
• Commercial degree or technical degree with additional commercial training.
• Education as “Certified Purchasing Specialist, Federal Diploma of Higher Education” is an advantage.
• Feeling comfortable within a complex and fast moving environment.
• Good social competence, strong communication skills, and teamwork.
• Proactive attitude and independent working.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to savings and cost avoidance by suppliers’ negotiation.
• Complete order process for prototypes, FAIR, toolings, etc.
• Data maintenance (e.g. lead times, material object codes etc.).
• Executes and supports RfXs and quotation evaluations.
• Plans and executes smaller purchasing projects upon instruction.
• Be part of global project and lead procurement purposes.
• Good collaboration with and support of internal customers / stakeholders.
• Administration: analyses, KPIs, data maintenance, requiring information and certificates, archiving, etc.
