Hitachi Energy is seeking a Business Controller to partner with the Power Consulting teams across the UK and Spain. In this role you will drive performance, support strategic decisions and enable profitable growth through robust financial analysis.

You will manage budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning, monitor performance, and provide insights to senior leaders. This is an international, high‑visibility position offering exposure to governance, reporting, and cross‑border collaboration.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
• 3–7 years in controlling, financial analysis or business finance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills.
• Experience with SAP ERP.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a trusted finance business partner for Power Consulting teams in the UK and Spain.
• Support strategic decision making through financial analysis and business insights.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and long-term business plans.
• Monitor business performance and identify risks, opportunities, and improvement actions.
• Deliver accurate monthly reporting, financial analysis, and performance reviews.
• Drive strong financial governance, compliance, and internal controls.
• Support audits, risk management activities, and balance sheet reviews.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, standardization, and data quality.
