Job summary

myPOS, a fintech payments provider, is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to own end-to-end payroll across Europe and beyond, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

You will lead onboarding in Deel, manage registrations, governance, and cross-border issues, partnering with HR, Finance and Tax. Fluency in English required; additional languages a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of payroll experience, including international multi-country payroll and leadership.
• Experience with multiple European jurisdictions; Italy, France, Germany are a plus; Bulgaria helpful.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax, labour law and compliance interactions.
• Experience with commission-heavy or variable pay structures.
• Experience with global payroll platforms (Deel strongly preferred) and system implementations.

Responsibilities

• Hold end-to-end payroll ownership across multiple European countries and beyond.
• Ensure accurate, on-time payroll processing in compliance with local laws.
• Oversee onboarding of new hires in Deel before first pay run.
• Manage statutory registrations for new hires, leavers and changes.
• Coordinate payroll data governance across HR, Finance and Deel.
• Stabilise and optimise payroll operations post-implementation.
• Lead payroll team development and coach staff.
• Provide accurate payroll reporting for monthly close, accruals and audits.
