The Global Payroll Consultant will be responsible for leading multi country payroll implementation projects, providing payroll management support, supporting payroll transformation initiatives, and contributing to projects involving tech (i.e. T&A, HRIS, GPCP Platforms…etc.) solutions as required. The role will require deep expertise in global payroll processes, compliance, and systems, along with the ability to drive efficiency and improvements in payroll operations.
The Global Payroll Consultant will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and technology teams to ensure successful payroll solutions are implemented and optimized.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll Implementation Projects
- Lead end-to-end payroll implementation projects across multiple countries, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Act as a subject matter expert in global payroll processes and system integrations.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to design and configure payroll solutions that align with business needs.
- Conduct payroll system testing, issue resolution, and go-live support.
- Develop and deliver training for clients on new payroll systems and processes.
2. Payroll Management Support
- Provide ongoing payroll advisory and operational support to clients.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and global payroll regulations and tax requirements.
- Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies, system issues, and process inefficiencies.
- Support payroll audits and compliance reviews, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies.
- Act as a strategic partner to clients, advising on best practices and process enhancements.
3. HRIS Solution Projects
- Support projects related to HRIS solutions, ensuring seamless payroll integration.
- Configure and optimize payroll modules within HRIS platforms.
- Work with clients to enhance payroll functionality and reporting within HRIS systems.
- Stay updated on HRIS enhancements and updates to maximize system capabilities.
4. Payroll Transformation Support
- Lead payroll transformation initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and automation.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize global payroll operations.
- Introduce innovative payroll technologies and automation solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Support change management activities to ensure smooth transitions in payroll transformations.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in global payroll consulting, payroll operations, or payroll implementation.
- Proven expertise in leading payroll implementation projects across multiple countries.
- Strong understanding of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and statutory reporting.
- Experience with HR solutions and payroll technology platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
