Job summary

AstraZeneca in Barcelona seeks the Senior Director of Pathology Diagnostics, Global Oncology Diagnostics, to shape the global medical strategy for digital and computational pathology in oncology diagnostics.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, collaborate with regions, and drive evidence generation, medical education, and real‑world data initiatives while balancing three days in the office with two days remote.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or PhD with medical background.
• 5+ years in medical affairs/global diagnostics with exposure to digital/computational pathology.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Oncology diagnostic activities across regions and countries.
• Develop global medical plan for patient identification solutions in Oncology products.
• Lead Scientific Advisory boards and diagnostics activities at major events.
