Job summary

Swiss Re in Madrid seeks a Senior Operational Excellence Lead to drive global transformation of operations with a hybrid working model. You will shape operational control design and automation, crafting scalable, technology-enabled solutions across processes, systems, and data.

Collaborating with Operations Run, Risk & Compliance, and Digital & Technology, you translate complex requirements into practical specifications, lead end-to-end solution development, and establish measures to sustain

Qualifications

Experience in operational control design within financial services or complex operational environments.
Ability to translate operational and control requirements into functional specifications and implementable technology solutions.
Practical experience using GenAI tools to enhance productivity and solution development.
Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration to drive end-to-end improvements.

Responsibilities

Drive operational control design and automation, assessing existing controls and identifying simplification opportunities.
Translate complex challenges into practical business solution designs and specifications.
Partner with Operations Run, Risk & Compliance, and Digital & Technology to develop scalable automation solutions.
Lead solution development from analysis to testing, implementation, and adoption with measurable outcomes.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and technology-enabled improvements.
Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders to align on options and priorities.
