Job summary

Siemens Energy in Madrid leads complex Offshore Automation projects, coordinating international teams and partners from tender through handover. The role emphasizes robust project governance, state-of-the-art digital tools, and continuous improvement of execution models.

The successful candidate will bring a technical degree, PM certification, and 10+ years in process automation or offshore projects, with strong English and Spanish communication and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• A completed technical degree in automation, electrical engineering, or related field.
• A recognized project management certification (PM@Siemens or IPMA).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex Offshore Automation sub-projects with full responsibility for execution, cost, schedule, quality, risk, and customer satisfaction.
• Act as the central interface between customers, engineering teams, commissioning, suppliers, partners, and international stakeholders.
• Drive project execution in an international environment while serving customers with high expectations for reliability and delivery.
• Ensure contractual, technical, commercial, and project-specific requirements are understood and fulfilled.
• Manage risks, claims, changes, and deviations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Integrate standardized solutions and modular execution to improve quality, efficiency, and scalability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of workflows, templates, and project governance.
• Use digital tools and AI-supported methods to enhance planning, reporting, and collaboration.
• Foster a collaborative, solution-oriented project culture across locations and cultures.
