Arbex in Madrid seeks a senior global sourcing professional to own ocean freight and international transportation procurement, negotiating with carriers and leading cost modelling for supply continuity.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in strategic sourcing, freight expertise, and strong negotiation/analytical skills. Fluent English is required, and a hybrid work model is offered to support collaboration and flexibility at Arbex.

• Preferably 8+ years of strategic sourcing / category management experience.
• Ocean freight / international logistics category experience; strong knowledge of carrier markets and rate structures.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and cost-modelling skills; contract management experience.
• Ability to work in a global matrix organization; fluent English.

About You

In one of our supply chain roles,you’llfocus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the centre. Job responsibilities include:

• Own the sourcing strategy and execution for ocean freight and international transportation services at global level

• Lead supplier negotiations, contracting and commercial terms to deliver cost, cash and supply-continuity targets

• Build category cost models, market intelligence and should-cost analysis to inform sourcing decisions

• Manage supplier relationships and performance (scorecards, business reviews, risk mitigation)

• Negotiate global carrier contracts, rates and capacity commitments; run annual/seasonal tender cycles

• Monitor freight-market dynamics and manage cost and capacity risk with supply chain and finance

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications/ experience:

• Preferably 8+ years of strategic sourcing / category management experience
