Job summary

Elawan Energy is seeking an O&M Engineer to join its Corporate Operations & Maintenance team in Madrid. You will act as a technical reference across an international asset portfolio, supporting local teams to maximise availability, reliability and safety while managing contracts, warranties and technical claims.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Finance and external partners, travelling occasionally to sites as needed.

Qualifications

University degree in Electrical, Industrial or Energy Engineering.
Desirable Master’s in Renewable Energy, Asset Management or Industrial Maintenance.
Minimum 2 years in O&M, asset engineering or related roles.

Responsibilities

Provide technical and operational support for an international energy portfolio.
Coordinate preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance with local teams.
Manage O&M contracts, SLAs and warranties; monitor performance.
Lead warranty claims and Root Cause Analyses with manufacturers and suppliers.
Coordinate insurance claims and major incidents with insurers and experts.
Support technical due diligence for acquisitions and asset divestment.
Assist during construction, commissioning and transition-to-operations.
Utilise SAP/Maximo/CMMS for data quality and reporting.
Prepare technical reports and performance analyses for management.
