Alcazar Energy is seeking an O&M Coordinator to provide day-to-day technical and commercial support across our wind asset portfolio. You will work with O&M contractors and OEMs to oversee contracts, monitor performance, and coordinate activities to keep assets performing to expectations.

The role requires 5+ years in technical/field service for a major wind OEM, plus 4+ years in site management or asset management, with strong budget and reporting skills.

• 4+ years in site management or asset management with an independent operator
• Budget management and contract oversight experience
• Wind technical background; solar/storage experience if possible
• Fluent English; Arabic or other regional languages an advantage

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day oversight across active O&M contracts, ensuring works are delivered in line with contractual scope and service levels
• Monitor asset and portfolio performance, tracking availability, output and key technical KPIs
• Prepare and contribute to internal and external performance reporting
• Coordinate with O&M contractors and OEMs on technical matters, including corrective works, spare parts and warranty claims
• Support budget tracking and contract oversight (invoicing, variation orders, spend against budget) for O&M contracts
• Act as the day-to-day point of contact for O&M contractors and OEMs on technical and operational matters
• Liaise with site-based staff to ensure activity aligns with contract requirements
• Report regularly to the line manager on contract status, performance issues and risks
• Support engagement with lenders, local government and other external stakeholders on technical/performance matters

The O&M Coordinator will provide day-to-day technical and commercial support across Alcazar Energy’s operating wind and renewable asset portfolio. Working closely with O&M contractors and OEMs, the role covers contract oversight, performance monitoring and reporting, and the coordination needed to keep assets performing to expectation. The scope of the role is expected to grow as the portfolio expands

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support and oversight across active O&M contracts, ensuring works are delivered in line with contractual scope and service levels
• Monitor asset and portfolio performance, tracking availability, output and key technical KPIs, and elevate any deviations
• Prepare and contribute to internal and external performance reporting, including contractor and OEM performance against contract
• Coordinate with O&M contractors and OEMs on technical matters, including corrective works, spare parts and warranty claims
• Support budget tracking and contract oversight (invoicing, variation orders, spend against budget) for O&M contracts

Relationship Management:

• Act as the day-to-day point of contact for O&M contractors and OEMs on technical and operational matters
• Liaise with site-based staff and technicians to ensure site activity aligns with contract requirements
• Report regularly to the line manager on contract status, performance issues and risks
• Support engagement with lenders, local government and other external stakeholders as required, particularly on technical or performance-related matters

Qualifications and Skills:

• Engineering degree (electrical, mechanical or similar) or equivalent technical qualification; not essential where backed by strong OEM/field experience
• Wind turbine technician certifications (e.g. GWO), OEM-specific technical training
• Minimum 5 years in a technical or field service role with a major wind OEM (Siemens Gamesa, Vestas, GE or similar), followed by 4+ years in site management, lead technician or asset management/technical advisory with an independent operator (e.g. Natural Power, RES, Statkraft or similar), including budget management, contract oversight and performance reporting
• Wind technical background essential; solar and/or storage experience an advantage. A technical specialism such as blade repair, major correctives or gearbox work is a strong plus
• Fluent English required; Arabic or other regional languages an advantage
