Arxada is seeking a Global Marketing Manager for Industrial Coatings to lead the development and execution of the marketing strategy across regions. You will translate market insights into growth initiatives, strengthen customer engagement, and connect needs with portfolio development and commercial execution.

You will collaborate with Product Management, R&D, and Sales to shape roadmaps, develop go-to-market campaigns, and support sales teams with tools and trainings while traveling up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Marketing or Business.
• MBA preferred for strategic leadership roles.
• 10+ years in industrial coatings, specialty chemicals or related markets.
• Strong understanding of industrial coatings tech, specs and customer needs.
• Proven track record in market strategy, product positioning and GTM planning.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; experience across matrixed orgs.
• Fluent English; travel up to 25% and an established industry network preferred.

As a Global Marketing Manager, Industrial Coatings , you will lead the development and execution of the marketing strategy for Arxada’s Industrial Coatings business. You will translate market intelligence and customer insight into actionable growth strategies, strengthen customer engagement, and connect customer needs with portfolio development and commercial execution. Working across global and regional teams, you will help position Arxada for profitable growth in this important and underpenetrated market.

Location: multiple locations globally possible. Hybrid/remote working model.

Essential Job Functions:

• Develop and execute the marketing strategy for Arxada’s Industrial Coatings business, supporting profitable growth and market expansion.
• Lead market segmentation, customer-needs analysis, and value-proposition development across applications including Oil & Gas, petrochemicals, high-temperature coatings, corrosion under insulation, and functional coatings.
• Identify emerging trends, customer challenges, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities, translating insights into clear strategic priorities.
• Partner with Product Management, R&D, Technical Service, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to shape innovation roadmaps aligned with market needs.
• Develop differentiated positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies, including integrated campaigns and product-launch initiatives.
• Equip regional sales teams and Key Account Managers with commercial tools, training, and marketing programs that accelerate opportunity development.
• Strengthen customer and industry engagement through conferences, technical seminars, webinars, thought-leadership initiatives, and relationships across the industrial coatings value chain.
• Monitor competitive activity, market-share trends, and segment performance, providing strategic recommendations on portfolio investments, pricing, and growth priorities

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in industrial coatings, specialty chemicals, or related markets, including progressive responsibility in marketing, product management, or commercial leadership.
• Strong understanding of industrial coatings technologies, specifications, applications, and customer requirements.
• Demonstrated success in developing market strategies, product positioning, value propositions, and go-to-market plans.
• Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to turn market and customer insights into business-growth opportunities.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills, with experience working across matrixed and cross-functional organizations.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel up to 25%; an established network within the industrial coatings value chain is preferred.
