Job summary

Ball Corporation is seeking a Process Expert to support start-ups, new line installations, and conversions across the EMEA region. You will drive performance, process stability, and operational excellence in chemical processing while collaborating with plant teams and project stakeholders, with a strong emphasis on hands-on experience in can manufacturing.

The role requires can manufacturing expertise (3+ years as CPO/CPM), a Chemical Engineering degree preferred, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Proven can manufacturing experience essential, including at least 3 years as a CPO or CPM.
• Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline is advantageous.
• Fluency in English; willing to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Lead process performance and optimization during start-ups, new builds, and line conversions.
• Perform specialized process adjustments to improve efficiency, quality, and environmental performance.
• Drive troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex process and equipment issues.
• Provide technical leadership to ensure reliable operation of front-end processing equipment.
• Train and coach site teams in process understanding and standards; enable autonomous operation.
• Support emergency breakdown recovery, size conversions, and capability building across sites.
• Identify waste reduction opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
