Job summary

Ball Corporation is seeking a Process Expert to drive performance, stability, and excellence across EMEA chemical processing lines. You will lead startups, line conversions, and new builds with hands-on can manufacturing expertise and collaborate with plant teams to optimize processes.

Fluency in English and willingness to travel are essential. The role emphasizes operational leadership, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement, supported by a comprehensive benefits package and incentive

Qualifications

Can manufacturing experience essential with 3+ years as CPO/CPM.
Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline preferred.
Hands-on experience with washers, wastewater treatment, oil systems, filtration, and cooling towers.
Ability to train and coach site teams; Travel extensively (Train‑The‑Trainer advantageous).

Responsibilities

Lead process performance and optimization activities during start-ups, new builds, and line conversions.
Perform specialized process and chemical adjustments to improve efficiency, quality, and environmental performance.
Drive troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for complex process and equipment‑related issues.
Provide technical leadership to ensure reliable operation of front‑end processing equipment.
Train and coach site teams in process understanding, performance standards, and autonomous operation.
Support emergency breakdown recovery, size conversions, and capability building across manufacturing sites.
Identify waste reduction opportunities and support continuous improvement and preventive maintenance initiatives.
