Job Description

The Global Launch Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the end-to-end launch management process for Galderma dermatological products across global markets. This role ensures seamless execution of product launches by working closely with cross-functional teams, optimizing processes, and aligning with regulatory and business objectives to ensure timely and successful market entry. The Global Launch Manager will also focus on reviewing the product portfolio, identifying inefficiencies, and driving process improvements to enhance overall launch performance.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Launch Planning & Execution:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive global launch plans, defining key milestones, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination across global, regional and local R&D, Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and other Operations to ensure smooth product introductions.
  • Adapt global launch strategies to local market requirements, ensuring clear communication and alignment between global and regional teams throughout the launch process.
  • Collaborate within Operations, R&D, GPS, and Commercial teams to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Launch Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
    • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate launch success and identify areas for improvement.
    • Conduct post-launch evaluations, capturing lessons learned and best practices for future launches.
    • Provide regular status updates to leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring transparency in launch progress and performance.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
    • Ensure all product launches comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and market-specific requirements.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of launch activities, approvals, and timelines for tracking and auditing purposes.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
    • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful collaboration and execution.
    • Work effectively within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team, ensuring mutual support and effective cooperation on product launch initiatives.
  • Portfolio & Process Optimization:
    • Review the existing product portfolio to assess performance and identify products that do not generate the required business benefits.
    • Recommend discontinuation or adjustments for underperforming products based on data-driven insights.
    • Identify process inefficiencies and propose improvements for implementation to enhance the launch framework and overall execution.

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Supply Chain, Life Sciences).
    • 5+ years of experience in product launch management, preferably within the dermatological or pharmaceutical industry.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple global launches simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, ensuring seamless collaboration across functions.
    • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
    • Ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in product launches.
    • Excellent English communication skills.
