Job summary

ABB is seeking a Global IS Governance Assurance and Advisory Specialist to shape how governance is executed across our global organization. You will design, implement, and continuously improve IS governance frameworks, policies, and standards, ensuring alignment with IT strategy and business goals.

In this hybrid role, you will engage senior stakeholders, guide governance adoption, coordinate audits, and drive pragmatic improvements that create real value for ABB and its customers.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in IT/IS governance, compliance, risk management in a global corporate environment.
• Effective stakeholder management and influencing skills across functions and cultures.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Familiarity with governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO/IEC 38500) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain and continuously improve IS governance frameworks, policies and standards.
• Monitor governance, compliance and risk frameworks; coordinate internal and external audits; remediate findings.
• Advise senior leaders and stakeholders on governance matters and drive adoption across functions.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and enhance governance processes for pragmatic value.
