Pod Talent is seeking a Global Category Manager for Commodities/Ingredients based in Barcelona to lead the direct procurement of key agricultural and ingredient commodities. The role includes shaping strategy, hedging, supplier relationships, and sustainability programs, with relocation support available.

You will drive global procurement initiatives, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and help transform the function within a leading FMCG business.

Formación

Extensive experience within ingredients or commodities procurement.
Knowledge of commodity management.
Experience engaging at senior levels with internal and external partners.
Global or significant regional exposure is highly advantageous.
Experience in food or agriculture sectors is strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

As owner of the global commodity procurement strategy, drive improvement across processes, negotiations, security of supply and innovation.
Engage at senior levels both internally and externally to drive stronger relationships with business units and suppliers globally.
Extensive experience within ingredients or commodities procurement and knowledge of commodity management.
Global or significant regional exposure is highly advantageous.
Experience within food or agriculture sectors is strongly preferred.
