Ams Osram is seeking a Global Infrastructure Service Owner and Solution Architect to lead OpenShift and virtualization platforms globally. You will govern lifecycle management, ensure SLAs and compliance, and collaborate with external providers to maintain high availability.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IT infrastructure, deep OpenShift/Kubernetes expertise, and experience with VMware/virtualization platforms, ITIL/DevOps practices, and strong stakeholder communication in English.

Formación

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with strong conceptual work and defining technical approaches.
Profound understanding of IT infrastructure core technologies (storage, backup, networking).
Deep expertise in OpenShift/Kubernetes, container orchestration and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware vSphere, Red Hat Virtualization).
Experience managing external service providers in a global enterprise environment.
Understanding of ITIL, DevOps and Agile methodologies.
Project management skills for Network & Datacenter design/built projects.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent command of oral and written business English.

Responsabilidades

Act as the primary owner of OpenShift and VMware/Virt. infrastructure services globally.
Define and maintain service strategy, architecture, and lifecycle with IT and business alignment.
Establish and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and OLAs with external partners.
Lead service reviews, audits, and continuous improvement with external provider.
Drive incident and problem management escalations and root cause analysis.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement security controls and patching.
Design and evolve scalable, secure OpenShift platforms and virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V/KVM).
Contribute to budget planning, cost optimization, and capacity forecasting for infra services.
