Job summary

Allianz Services is seeking an Information Security Functional Monitoring expert to steer, monitor, and assess compliance maturity across Allianz entities worldwide, with focus on application security, cryptography, network security, and infrastructure protection.

You will enhance and streamline Group-wide Functional Monitoring processes by evaluating self-assessments, tracking non-compliances, and providing subject-matter expertise to challenge technical controls. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background across security domains and hands-on experience with risk-based security controls.
• Experience implementing regulatory frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, DORA, NIS2.
• Proven track record in large multinational environments with governance and risk management responsibilities.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units to govern Allianz entities in line with Group Information Security policies.
• Review information security self-assessments and evaluate technical controls.
• Monitor and report non-compliances and control deficiencies; provide technical challenge.
• Act as a technical SME in the Functional Monitoring team and guide colleagues.
• Lead OE user-group discussions and promote best practices in security topics.
• Support global information security initiatives and strengthen cyber resilience.
