Global Hardware Product Manager for Edge AI Appliances

Job summary

CVEDIA operates a remote-first model and seeks a senior hardware product leader to own the global appliance lineup. You will decide what to build, who manufactures it, where it sells and at what price, reporting to our CTO and Chief Commercial Officer while coordinating with engineers on technical choices.

In the early months you will learn our appliances, suppliers and software, then design a scalable supply chain, testing/qualification processes, and first regional distribution partners.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in hardware product management.
• Managed contract manufacturers or system builders from spec to production.
• Launched hardware products with healthy margins and demonstrable numbers.

Responsibilities

• Own relationships with system builders, ODMs and component vendors, including pricing, lead times, quality and continuity of supply.
• Decide which appliances belong in the lineup, when a new one comes in, and when an old one is retired.
• Build distribution across regions, choosing partners and terms.
• Lead hardware product marketing, from positioning and datasheets to launches and channel tools.
• Keep pricing, margins and inventory healthy so each appliance earns its place.
• Work with engineers on CPU, GPU and storage choices to balance performance and cost.
