Mistral is seeking a founding hardware-software leadership role to turn arriving hardware into accepted clusters across Europe. You will design, implement, and ship automation for cabling validation, burn-in, firmware, deployment validation, and software stack installs, with time-to-acceptance as the KPI.

You will build and lead the team from day one, hire engineers, set growth paths, and scale the organization toward a gigawatt of compute while maintaining quality and velocity.

Formación

• Automated bare-metal fleets: you wrote the software that turns racks into clusters.
• Hardware fluency: read servers, GPUs, NICs, switches, firmware.
• 8+ years building backend or infrastructure systems with 2+ years in leadership.
• Deep Linux: comfortable below the application layer.
• Shipped production systems in Go, not just dabbling.
• Willing to travel to datacenter sites when required.
• Low-ego, team-first mindset and collaborative leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Build the delivery pipeline in Go: provisioning, configuration, validation, burn-in, network bring-up, software stack install.
• Build the team from scratch: hire, onboard and coach, own performance and growth paths, set tooling standards.
• Own time-to-acceptance and drive it down relentlessly.
• Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Hardware Design and Fleet Health to ensure reliability.
• Handle GPU fleets at scale: H100 and GB200-class nodes, InfiniBand and RoCE fabrics.
• Partner with Product Managers and the datacenter org to plan delivery waves against capacity.
