Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver installation, repair, maintenance and validation for clinical instruments including Microarray platforms (Affymetrix), PCR and qPCR systems. You will drive customer satisfaction with on-site responses and high first-time fix rates, while adhering to internal guidelines.

The role requires traveling mainly within the appointed region (Iberia) and occasionally internationally for training or special calls, with a focus on

Formación

• Background in Electronics, Molecular Biology or Engineering.
• 1–5 years' experience servicing analytical equipment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in clinical/medical markets.
• Proficiency in PC skills.
• Valid driving license.
• Willingness to travel regionally and internationally.
• English language proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Perform service activities in compliance with internal guidelines and customer regulations.
• Provide telephone support, diagnostics, and on-site services to ensure customer success.
• Actively promote contract products.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers to drive loyalty.
• Manage company assets, including inventory, tools, software and vehicles.
• Coordinate with partners for service planning and scheduling.
• Accurately report all activities in a timely manner.
• Align activities at customer sites with other Thermo Fisher teams and share relevant information.
