IFF is seeking a Global Category Manager, External Manufacturing, to shape a global contract manufacturing network within the Food Ingredients business. You will lead strategic sourcing, complex negotiations, and supplier relationships, partnering with Operations, Quality, R&D, and Finance to drive cost efficiency and supply continuity.

Location: Asturias, Spain (hybrid) with remote options for the right candidate. Requires 10+ years in procurement or category management within manufacturing.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management or Supply Chain within manufacturing.
• Experience with Contract Manufacturing, Toll Manufacturing, Co-Manufacturing, or other External Manufacturing models.
• Proven success leading complex negotiations and managing strategic supplier relationships.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production processes and cost drivers.
• Analytical and financial skills with strong commercial acumen.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence across functions.
• Self-driven, proactive and able to operate in a fast-paced global environment.
• Fluent English is a must.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute the global category strategy for External Manufacturing across Food Ingredients.
• Lead sourcing initiatives, contract negotiations, and supplier selection to deliver value and support objectives.
• Build and manage relationships with strategic manufacturing partners worldwide, driving performance and cost competitiveness.
• Collaborate with Operations and Technical teams to understand processes, capabilities, and cost drivers.
• Conduct detailed cost analysis and challenge supplier proposals to identify optimization opportunities.
• Support footprint decisions, capacity planning, risk mitigation, and make-vs-buy assessments.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support growth, launches, and supply continuity.
• Monitor market dynamics and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Drive continuous improvement and high-performing external manufacturing network.
