Banco Santander S.A. seeks a Global Export & Agency Finance Associate to join the Madrid office. You will be part of SCIB's Global Export & Agency Finance team, focusing on origination and structuring for Multilateral Agencies such as MIGA, IBRD, EBRD, and EIB, coordinating with NY and Hong Kong offices.

The role requires 4–5 years in advisory/lending, strong English and Spanish, and a proactive, organized approach to finance transactions across time zones.

Formación

• Minimum of 4-5 years in advisory and/or lending structured/Project/Export & Agency Finance transactions.
• Mastering of the legal arrangements’ standard in non-recourse financing (Project Finance) and/or Export & Agency Finance transactions.
• Experience in leading deal teams (different geographies, internal departments, external advisors, etc.).

Responsabilidades

• Assist with business origination activities and preparation of top-quality marketing and internal materials, both from a content and visual perspective.
• Contribute to business development activities, including new MLAs products, opportunity screening and coordination with bankers and MLAs.
• Drive internal coordination processes across relevant stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, E&S, Syndication, Middle Office, Project Finance, etc.).
• Prepare high-quality internal and external materials, ensuring strong analytical content and professional presentation standards.
• To structure and execute transactions together with Multilateral Agencies.
• To execute advisory and coordination roles.
• To design new value-added solutions, as the team progresses providing more complex structures.
