Galenicum is seeking a Global Distribution Expert to join the Supply Chain Team. You will manage import/export documentation, coordinate international shipments, and monitor GDP-compliant operations across pharma and non-pharma lines.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in customs/logistics, strong SAP S/4HANA and MS Office skills, and fluency in English and Spanish. We offer a flexible schedule, health insurance, meals, gym discounts, and growth opportunities.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration (ADE) or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in operational customs or related logistics roles.
• Excellent level of English and Spanish, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Manage import/export documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate daily international shipments for pharma and non-pharma lines.
• Record logistics costs and audit invoices in SAP S/4HANA.
• Analyze KPIs and prepare regular performance reports.
• Lead or participate in process automation and AI-enabled improvements.

We are looking for a Global Distribution Expert to join our Supply Chain Team!

What you'll be rocking:

Operational Customs Management (Import / Export):

• Manage and process import and export documentation, ensuring every transaction complies with trade, local, and customs regulations.
• Serve as the daily point of contact for customs brokers, resolve clearance issues, verify correct Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications, and ensure error-free issuance of certificates of origin.

International Freight Coordination (Pharma & Non-Pharma):

• Coordinate and track daily international shipments of finished products and raw materials for both pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical lines.
• Guarantee strict compliance with regulatory and quality requirements (GDP guidelines), closely monitoring cold chain maintenance and managing transport incidents through deviations or CAPAs.

Cost Recording & ERP Management (SAP S/4HANA):

• Timely log logistics costs, duties, and freight fees into SAP, ensuring the quality and accuracy of the department's master data.
• Audit carrier and customs broker invoices, controlling rate variances against agreed tariffs to support budget management.

Logistics Operations KPI Analysis:

• Extract operational data and build regular performance reports (clearance lead times, carrier reliability, customs holds, and distribution costs).
• Analyze KPI deviations to identify bottlenecks and drive actionable operational improvements.

Continuous Improvement Projects (Process Automation & AI):

• Act as a technical subject-matter expert in departmental projects focused on workflow optimization and the digitization of repetitive tasks.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to deploy technology tools and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions for customs process automation, predictive analytics, and transport monitoring.

What you bring to the table:

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in operational customs management and import/export processes. Experience in the Pharmaceutical, Chemical, or Healthcare sectors is preferred.
• Experience in international transport coordination, with a background in the Pharmaceutical, Chemical, or highly regulated industries being strongly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and expert knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems.

Educational milestone:

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration (ADE), or an equivalent technical field.
• Excellent level of English and Spanish, spoken and written.
