RES is seeking a dedicated Training & Knowledge Specialist to support the Service business by standardising and improving training across regions. The role focuses on e-learning design, LMS administration (Cornerstone) and SCORM-compliant content creation, ensuring high-quality, measurable outcomes.

You will collaborate with global and regional teams across O&M, HSQE, engineering, and other functions to deliver globally consistent training that meets local needs and improves environmental safety

Formación

  • Experience developing and administering e-learning platforms.
  • Experience in training project management and global/local alignment.
  • Familiarity with HSQE standards in a global context.

  • Ensure that e-learning programmes are constantly updated and aligned with best practices and technologies.
  • Measure the effectiveness of e-learning programmes, generate reports and propose continuous improvements.
  • Provide technical support and training to end users and regional teams.
  • Increase employee participation and engagement with e-learning programmes.

Job purpose The purpose of this role is to support the RES Service business by ensuring the standardisation and quality of the training function and systems across all regions.

Key areas of responsibility:
  • Training development (designing new training, adapting to global/local needs: e-learning, in person, peer to peer, etc)
  • Training systems management and related tools (Cornerstone, Easygenerator, HeyGen, Articulate, training profiles, booking, reporting)
  • Coordination of standardisation and synergies, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across regions.
Organisational context

Collaborate with global and regional teams from different functions (O&M, AM, HSQE, Engineering, etc)

Reports to the Global Training Manager, ensuring that training programmes are global, effective and measurable, while enhancing safety, quality and environmental outcomes.

Key accountabilities
  • Ensure that training meets global standards of quality and consistency, regardless of region.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to ensure training meets global standards and is tailored to local needs.
  • Organise and coordinate training sessions across regions.
  • Create and adapt e-learning materials for different regions and audiences.
  • Monitor and maintain e-learning platforms, ensuring they are up to date and accessible.
  • Ensure that e-learning programmes are constantly updated and aligned with best practices and technologies.
  • Measure the effectiveness of e-learning programmes, generate reports and propose continuous improvements.
  • Provide technical support and training to end users and regional teams.
  • Increase employee participation and engagement with e-learning programmes.
Knowledge
  • Proficiency in e-learning platforms, tools such as Articulate Storyline, and learning management systems (Cornerstone)
  • Familiarity with HSQE legislation, standards, and best practices, particularly in a global context.
  • Understanding of global best practices in training and development.
  • Technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical maintenance or Renewable Energies will be appreciated.
Skills
  • Fluent English speaker.
  • Intermediate MS Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to design, develop and adapt training programmes (both in-person and e-learning) to meet global and local needs.
  • Experience in creating engaging, effective training materials for diverse audiences.
  • Learning Management System (LMS) administration Proficiency in managing online learning platforms (LMS), including user profiles, course booking, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to monitor, update and optimise e-learning systems to ensure accessibility and alignment with best practices.
  • Strong skills in coordinating with global and regional teams across multiple functions (O&M, AM, HSQE, Engineering, etc).
  • Ability to standardise training processes and ensure consistency and effectiveness across regions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders at all levels and from different cultures.
  • Ability to provide technical support and training to end users and regional teams.
  • Strong organisational skills to plan, schedule and coordinate training sessions (both online and face-to-face) in multiple regions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to measure training effectiveness, analyse participation and engagement data, and generate actionable reports.
  • Skills in proposing and implementing continuous improvements based on data insights.

  • Capacity to adapt training content and delivery methods to evolving business needs, technologies, and regional requirements.
  • Openness to feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance in all training activities.
  • Awareness of global standards and ability to ensure training programmes meet these requirements.
  • Proficiency with digital tools for content creation, virtual collaboration, and online learning.
  • Ability to stay updated with new e-learning technologies and methodologies.
  • Sensitivity to cultural differences and ability to tailor training approaches to diverse audiences worldwide.
Experience
  • Experience in developing and administering e-learning platforms.
  • Experience in training project management.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, quality, and environmental management systems.
  • Proficiency in related technological tools.
Other requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel for data analysis.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, when required.
  • Valid passport and driving licence.
