Tamarind Intelligence in Barcelona is seeking a Data Steward to manage externally sourced data assets and govern metadata across a global organisation. You will sit at the centre of business, analytics, governance and vendor relationships to ensure high-value external data is documented, accessible and delivering value.

You will collaborate with analytics, data operations and governance teams to improve transparency and discoverability of datasets, coordinate with vendors to resolve data quality

Formación

• Experience in Data Governance, Data Stewardship or Metadata Management.
• Experience with data catalogues, metadata frameworks and data asset documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management across business and technical teams.
• Experience coordinating with external vendors, suppliers or third-party data providers.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Document, onboard and manage lifecycle of external data assets for global teams.
• Create and maintain metadata and business documentation in data catalogues.
• Collaborate with analytics, data operations and governance to improve transparency and discoverability of datasets.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve data quality issues and updates.
• Identify opportunities to maximise value and reuse of third‑party data across the organisation.
• Support research into new external data sources and datasets.
• Work with stakeholders, procurement, governance and suppliers on data management practices.
