Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Data Governance Manager to shape and advance data governance across its International Business Group, spanning the UK, Norway, France, Spain, Germany, Türkiye, and the Americas. The role maps current capabilities, identifies gaps, and develops a practical roadmap to improve data quality and compliance.

You will work with in-country resources and cross-functional stakeholders to establish consistent governance practices, ownership, and policies, while guiding change

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, data management, statistics, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in data governance or data management.
• Experience working across multiple countries and stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Assess current data governance maturity across IBG countries and units.
• Develop and maintain a roadmap to improve governance capabilities.
• Coordinate governance councils, policies, standards and tracking.
• Define data ownership, stewardship, and data glossary standards.
• Oversee data quality rules, monitoring, and remediation.
• Support metadata, lineage, and data catalog efforts with teams.
• Manage governance controls for access, privacy, retention, and ethics.
• Drive change management and adoption with in-country teams.
• Provide leadership to cross-functional and local resources.
