ARTO is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive international growth for viral vectors, vaccines and related biopharmaceutical products. You will engage customers on both scientific and commercial opportunities and translate requirements into solutions.

The role combines business development, technical customer engagement and market development, with close collaboration to scientific and technical teams across the organization.

Formación

• BD/commercial experience in a CDMO.
• Strong technical understanding of viral vectors, vaccines or related modalities.
• Experience selling scientific, technical or manufacturing services.
• Able to discuss scientific concepts with customers.
• International experience is advantageous.
• PhD is highly advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Develop new business with biotech and pharmaceutical customers.
• Identify, qualify and progress opportunities through to project award.
• Sell specialist CDMO development and manufacturing services.
• Build relationships with CMC, R&D, Technical Operations and manufacturing stakeholders.
• Understand customer programmes and translate technical requirements into relevant solutions.
• Work closely with internal scientific, process development, manufacturing and project teams.
• Represent the business at conferences, industry events and customer meetings.
• Monitor market trends and emerging technologies and feed commercial insight back into the business.
• Manage and develop an international sales pipeline.
