The Global Brand Director will be responsible for driving the pre-commercialization and commercialization strategies, developing the commercialization plan, and collaborating closely with the Global Specialty Care TA cross-functional team, the Global Medical and Scientific Affairs team, and supporting in-country sales and marketing efforts.

This role will oversee daily brand operations, including strategic and tactical plan development, branding and creative activities, strategic communication, budget management, and KPI monitoring.

This is a remote position, open to candidates located anywhere in Europe. It is an individual contributor role.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the Olezarsen brand in partnership with the VP, Head of Immunology and Specialty Care, ensuring successful product launch and strategy execution to maximize potential and support regional activities.
  • Develop and implement global cross-functional brand strategies, including positioning, communication, congress strategy, KOL management, geographical expansion, and training plans across all regions and markets.
  • Manage day-to-day brand marketing activities aligned with milestones, budgets, and KPIs.
  • Lead global teams with representatives from Market Access, Medical, Patient Access, Regulatory, Tech Ops, Business Intelligence, and Finance, ensuring integrated brand strategies.
  • Collaborate strategically and operationally with the VP and portfolio CAT Lead on daily activities and processes.
  • Build partnerships with affiliates to gather insights and provide strategic guidance for local launches and activities.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, such as KOLs, to establish a strong foundation for product success.
  • Control external expenses and ensure promotional activities stay within budget, aligning with financial forecasts.
  • Represent the commercial function within the Core Asset Team (CAT) and coordinate with partners like Ionis to maximize global footprint.
  • Operate ethically, adhering to company values, SOPs, and regulatory requirements, including ongoing training.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • University degree in medical / science fields.
  • Proven experience in global prelaunch and launch activities in rare diseases, preferably in Immunology.
  • At least 5 years of strong brand management experience in global or leadership marketing roles.
  • Project management skills and results-driven attitude.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and delivering results on time and within budget.
  • Additional experience in sales, market analytics, and business intelligence is a plus.
  • Ability to manage external consultants and agencies.
  • Customer relationship management experience.
