Formación

• At least 3 years of experience in a GL Accounting role.
• Experience with statutory accounting and financial statement preparation.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.

Descripción del empleo

As a GL Accountant, you should be able to perform the following under general direction and minimal supervision, in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ASP policies, procedures, and guidelines:

1. Preparation of US GAAP and local statutory financial statements for assigned legal entities, including GAAP to Stat adjustments, supporting entity FS audits, replying to auditors' queries, providing support, and ensuring alignment with timelines and due dates.
2. Monthly closing processes, including:

• Standard and non-standard journal postings
• Intercompany invoices and reconciliation of month-end balances
• Month-end accruals and prepayments
• Knowledge of Fixed Assets and inventory processes
• Analysis of figures, variance investigation, and issue identification
• Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations and reviews, including GL reconciliations in Blackline
• Preparation of interim financial statements and ad hoc reports
• Payroll journal postings and liaising with payroll teams
• Driving process improvements and ensuring compliance with policies and GAAP
• Additional duties as required

1. Effective communication of business issues or opportunities to management.
2. Proficiency in SAP (Financial Module) and Excel is essential.
3. Interest in AI is a plus.

Qualifications include:

• At least 3 years of experience in a GL Accounting role
• Experience with statutory accounting, financial statement preparation, and audits
• Proficiency in SAP and Excel
• Fluency in English; additional European languages are advantageous
• Experience with PowerBI, Python, and AI is a plus
