Formación

  • 7+ years of professional accounting experience with knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.

Qualifications:
  1. Professional accounting experience with 7+ years post-qualified.
  2. Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory standards.
  3. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English, capable of presenting to senior leadership.
  5. Proven leadership abilities to manage and motivate a team.
  6. Experience with financial systems and software, with advanced Excel skills; MS Dynamics experience is a plus.
  7. Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Strong attention to detail, technical, and automation skills.
  9. Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, flexible, team-oriented, and capable of managing priorities.
  10. Experience in preparing VAT, corporate tax returns, and statutory financial statements in collaboration with tax advisors.
  11. Consolidation experience is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee daily operations of the core accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  2. Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance.
  3. Oversee preparation of financial statements and provide insights to leadership.
  4. Analyze financial data and monitor KPIs to improve financial performance.
  5. Collaborate with legal, strategic finance, and tax departments to align business objectives.
  6. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  7. Manage relationships with external auditors and facilitate audits.
  8. Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations to the accounting team.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to improve processes.
  10. Identify automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  11. Lead ad-hoc projects to add value and insights.
  12. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare supporting documentation.
  13. Assist with onboarding acquisition accounting and assessing financial status.
  14. Support new processes and system implementations as needed.
