ALTER TECHNOLOGY is seeking a GIS Specialist to join the DMT Engineering Surveying GmbH team in Barcelona.

This is what you can expect:

1. Record and maintain digital network documentation in GIS (Smallworld, ArcGIS, QGIS, sisNET).
2. Support the improvement of workflows in network documentation.
3. Work with various GIS systems.
4. Check the quality of digital network data, both independently and using automated tools.
5. Collaborate closely with team members across different locations.
6. Participate regularly in training sessions and workshops.

Requirements:

• Completed vocational training or technical qualification in surveying, drafting, or a comparable field.
• Good understanding of GIS and CAD systems.
• Knowledge of digital pipeline documentation for utility sectors such as electricity, gas, and communications is a plus.
• Strong team and communication skills, customer-oriented approach, and proficiency in English or German.
