Job summary

IQVIA in Madrid, Spain seeks a Programmer (SAS & R) with German to support health technology assessment and market access activities. The role combines statistical programming with data analysis for German AMNOG dossiers, ideal for biostatisticians or data scientists.

You will work across cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality outputs, while staying aligned with IQWiG/G‑BA guidance. Fluency in German and English is required; hybrid/remote work options from Spain are available.

Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or a related field.
Initial experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access and/or clinical development.
Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles.
Familiarity with clinical study data and CDISC SDTM/ADaM.
Familiarity with the German AMNOG process, IQWiG methodology, or G-BA procedures is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of German AMNOG dossiers, focusing on programming analyses for Module 4.
Analyze clinical trial data, including efficacy, safety, endpoints, and subgroup analyses.
Perform meta-analyses and indirect comparisons and interpret results.
Automate and standardize analysis workflows for efficiency and reproducibility.
Collaborate with Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, and EU-HTA teams.
Ensure scientific quality and clarity of generated outputs.
Monitor methodological developments from IQWiG, GBA, and other HTA bodies.
