What you will do in this role

As an Account Manager on our team, you will :

  1. Have full managerial responsibility of a portfolio of German SME clients with a focus on portfolio growth and long-term account retention strategy.
  2. Identify client needs with products and services and sell appropriate value components to increase customer engagement.
  3. Proactively manage an effective pipeline, identifying and prioritizing opportunities to achieve and exceed profitable growth targets.
  4. Seek out new sources for expansion opportunities, such as self-generated leads, client referrals, subsidiaries, or sister companies.
  5. Ensure premium value is delivered aligned with client goals, delivering a positive customer experience and fostering customer advocacy.

Your qualifications

  • Proficient or bilingual in German plus advanced English.
  • Experience working in or with the German market.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented with a positive outlook and a focus on exceeding targets.
  • Challenger mindset with creative thinking to identify new business opportunities.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple customers at different sales stages.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to maximize performance.
  • Exceptional communication skills, confident speaking with senior executives, and influencing decision-makers.
  • Quickly understand client needs to drive results and identify opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills.
