Sar Residencial i Assistencial SAU in Marratxí, Mallorca, is hiring two Nursing Assistants and Geriatric Care Workers for a permanent full-time role. The gross annual salary is €22,000, with an October 1, 2026 start date and a flexible schedule based on mutual needs.

You will provide essential daily living support and warm companionship to elderly residents, following care plans and promoting resident participation in social activities within the care home.

Formación

• At least 3 months of previous experience in geriatric care, nursing facilities, or socio-sanitary support.
• Intermediate vocational training in nursing assistance or geriatric care.
• Empathy, strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting the elderly.

Responsabilidades

• Assisting residents with daily living needs and providing compassionate emotional support.
• Executing care plans and daily routines set by the Nursing Coordinator, including hygiene and bathing.
• Supporting personal autonomy and facilitating resident participation in social life.
• Helping residents during meals and supervising self-feeding.
• Ensuring continuous hydration for residents during shifts.
• Making beds, keeping rooms tidy, and handling laundry.
• Administering oral medication as directed by nursing staff (excluding high-risk meds).
• Guiding residents to therapy sessions and center activities, and supporting interns during training.

Are you a dedicated healthcare professional looking for a meaningful role in elderly care on Mallorca? Sar Residencial i Assistencial SAU is hiring two Nursing Assistants and Geriatric Care Workers for their care home in Marratxí. In this role, you will provide essential daily assistance and warm emotional companionship to elderly residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being every day.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting residents with their basic daily living needs while offering compassionate and attentive emotional support.
• Executing care plans and daily routines established by the Nursing Coordinator, including personal hygiene, bathing, and scheduled postural changes.
• Supporting personal autonomy and facilitating resident participation in the social and community life of the center.
• Helping residents during meal times, serving breakfasts, lunches, snacks, and dinners according to individual needs, and supervising self-feeding.
• Ensuring continuous and adequate hydration for all residents throughout your shift.
• Making resident beds, maintaining room order, and collecting laundry.
• Administering oral medication as directed by the nursing staff (strictly excluding high-risk medications such as narcotics or morphics).
• Guiding and accompanying residents to therapy sessions and scheduled center activities, as well as supporting interns during their practical training.

What you bring to the role:

• An intermediate vocational training qualification (Cicle Formatiu de Grau Mitjà / FP Grado Medio) in nursing assistance or geriatric care.
• At least 3 months of previous experience in geriatric care, nursing facilities, or socio-sanitary support.
• Empathy, strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting the elderly.
