Centre residencial persones grans in Calvià, Mallorca, is seeking two dedicated Geriatric Nursing Assistants to join the care team. You will provide essential daily assistance and affectionate emotional support to residents, ensuring their well-being and comfort in a residential setting.

The role requires an intermediate nursing assistant qualification and at least 3 months of experience in elderly care, with a focus on empathy, patience, and teamwork.

Formación

• Completed FP de Grado Medio / Ciclo Formatiu de Grau Mitjà in nursing assistance or geriatric care.
• At least 3 months of professional experience in elderly care or clinical settings.
• High empathy, patience, and dedication to resident welfare.
• Strong teamwork spirit and reliability in following care protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Attend to the basic daily needs of residents with empathetic, respectful, and warm support.
• Follow nursing protocols for daily routines including personal hygiene, posture changes, and mobility support.
• Assist residents in maintaining autonomy and integrate them into social life at the centre.
• Help residents with meals, supervise self-feeding, serve meals and snacks, and ensure hydration.
• Make beds, collect laundry, and maintain a comfortable environment.
• Administer prescribed oral medication as directed by the nursing team (excluding high-risk meds).
• Coordinate transfers to therapies or social activities and mentor students during internships.

In this role, you will provide essential daily assistance and affectionate emotional support to residents, ensuring their well-being, dignity, and comfort in a residential setting.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Attending to the basic daily needs of residents with empathetic, respectful, and warm support.
• Executing work routes according to established nursing protocols, including daily personal hygiene, posture changes, and mobility support.
• Assisting residents in maintaining personal autonomy and integrating into the social life of the centre.
• Helping residents with meals, supervising self-feeding, serving meals and snacks, and ensuring proper hydration at all times.
• Making beds, collecting laundry from resident rooms, and maintaining a comfortable environment.
• Administering prescribed oral medication as directed by the nursing team (excluding specific high-risk medication).
• Coordinating and assisting residents with transfers to therapies or social activities, as well as mentoring students during their practical internships.

What you bring to the position:

• Completed intermediate vocational training (FP de Grado Medio / Cicle Formatiu de Grau Mitjà) in nursing assistance or geriatric care.
• At least 3 months of professional experience in elderly care or clinical settings.
• High empathy, patience, and dedication to resident welfare.
• Strong teamwork spirit and reliability in following care protocols.

What the position offers you:

• A permanent contract (contrato indefinido) starting on October 1, 2026.
• A gross annual salary of 22,000 €.
• Full-time position with working hours arranged according to organizational and mutual needs.
