Sanitat privada geriatria in Mallorca is hiring 5 Geriatric Nursing Assistants to join the care team in Santanyí. The role is full-time on a rotating shift, with a gross annual salary of €22,000.

You will provide daily support and emotional companionship to elderly residents, ensuring their well-being and safety. Applicants should have an intermediate vocational training certificate in healthcare or geriatric care and at least 3 months of relevant experience.

• Ability to work full-time on rotating shifts, including weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Support residents with daily needs and personal hygiene per care protocol.
• Supervise meals, ensure hydration, and assist with mobility and transfers.
• Administer prescribed oral medication as directed by the nursing coordinator.
• Encourage resident autonomy and participation in social life of the center.
• Make beds, collect laundry, and support therapy sessions and activities.

Are you passionate about caring for the elderly and looking for a meaningful role in Mallorca? Sanitat privada geriatria is currently seeking 5 Geriatric Nursing Assistants to join the care team in Santanyí. In this full-time role, you will provide daily support and compassionate emotional companionship to elderly residents, ensuring their continuous well-being, comfort, and safety.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supporting residents with their daily basic needs, personal hygiene routines, and scheduled postural changes according to the nursing care protocol
• Assisting residents who cannot eat independently, supervising meal times, and ensuring proper hydration throughout the day
• Administering prescribed oral medication as directed by the nursing coordinator
• Helping residents maintain their personal autonomy and encouraging their active participation in the center's social life
• Making beds, collecting room laundry, and assisting residents with mobility and transfers to scheduled therapy sessions and activities

What you should bring to the role:

• An intermediate vocational training certificate in healthcare or geriatric care (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio)
• At least 3 months of relevant experience in nursing or geriatric assistance
• A compassionate, empathetic, and responsible approach to elder care
• Availability to work full-time on rotating shifts from Monday to Sunday, with appropriate rest periods
